Founder and Program Director of Bodhi Academy, Jyoti designed our consciousness-based ceremonial curriculum and oversees the didactic and live training elements. A Certified Master Psychedelic Practitioner, Ritual Ceremonialist, and Integral Consciousness Master Coach, she draws on her decades of experience in depth analysis, consciousness training, and the induction of non-ordinary states of awareness, Jyoti holds is a special matter expert in traumatic stress, substance use, ceremonial sacraments, and practitioner ethics.

Jyoti is the Founder and Program Director of Bodhi Academy. She co-created and oversees a unique consciousness-based curriculum that addresses total person care for ceremonial practitioners. She also serves as the lead practice retreat supervisor for the program’s in-person training.

Jyoti is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Enlightened Life Temple, an international temple of consciousness founded in 1994. She was among the first to be awarded state facilitator credentials in Oregon and Colorado. She holds certifications as a Master Psychedelic Practitioner, Professional Coach, and Integral Consciousness Master Coach. She is a former outpatient treatment center owner and counselor who has found the path of conscious awakening to be the only enduring cure for human suffering. She specializes in the use of non-ordinary states of awareness to support recovery from post-traumatic stress, substance use disorders, OCD, and other entrenched cyclic patterns and challenges.

Jyoti is a special matter expert in post-traumatic stress and substance/alcohol use recovery methods and programs that integrate sacred medicine ceremonies. She holds expertise in the use of psychoactive natural medicines for ceremony, healing, personal growth, mystical experiences, and shifting consciousness in beneficial and enduring ways. She served as a member of Oregon Health Authority's Rules Advisory Committee on Facilitator Conduct, Preparation, Administration, and Integration. She provides expert consultations to professionals on standards of care for guides and facilitators, the application of rules and regulations in the field of psychedelic services, and best practices to support clients to achieve effective and meaningful transformation. She is a recognized` leader in the emerging, national ecosystems for supported adult use and harm reduction in the field of psychedelics.

Jyoti has developed and taught a variety of personal development, consciousness expansion, and holistic living courses, books, and video programs, including a complete program of training in the Western Mystical Traditions. These time-honored programs are offered through her non-profit temple of consciousness, Enlightened Life Temple. She has lived in India with a variety of lineage teachers and offers training and practice groups in Siddha, Shakta Tantra, and Advaita. She holds the secret knowledge of the yoginis and yogis in the use of sacred medicines in the yogic paths. Jyoti holds lineages in the western esoteric traditions that the ancient ceremonial rites involving psychoactive sacraments. She is dedicated to serving the liberation of human consciousness and the establishment of enlightened life on earth.
