Terms & Conditions

We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to offer a fair and transparent refund policy. Please review the policy below regarding deposits, program fees, and the refund structure. This policy applies to all participants in the 6-month training program, which includes a 10-day practicum retreat.

1. Non-Refundable Application Fee

  • An application fee of $250 is required when you apply to enroll in the program. This fee is non-refundable.

2. Refund Timeline and Structure

  • Before Program Start Date:
  • If you withdraw prior to 90 days before the start of the program, you are eligible for a 90% refund of the remaining program fees, which does not include the application fee. A fee of 10% is retained for administrative set up, provision of initial agreements and program materials, and management of your student account from the time of enrollment to the time of withdrawal.
  • If you withdraw 45-90 days before the start of the program, you are eligible for a 75% refund of the remaining program fees, which does not include the application fee.
  • If you withdraw 30-45 days before the start of the program, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the remaining program fees, which does not include the application fee.
  • If you withdraw less than 30 days before the start of the program, no refund is available.

  • After Program Start Date:
  • Once the program begins, refunds are not able to be provided. However, if extenuating circumstances arise, such as serious illness, injury, or personal hardship, your registration fee will be pro-rated to deduct time enrolled, and the remainder will be eligible to be applied as a credit for the next training cohort. A credit request and an explanation of why program completion is not possible should be submitted in writing, along with documentation of the extenuating circumstances. Your pro-rated credit must be applied to the next enrollment period within one year of withdrawal. You may then resume the training at the point where withdrawal occurred.
  • Practicum Retreat: If you are unable to participate in the retreat, no refund for training fees is available. You may request a refund for accommodation and meals from the retreat property subject to their refund policies.

3. Deferral Option

  • Deferral Before Program Start: If you wish to defer your participation to a future cohort, you may do so once without penalty if requested 60 days or more before the program starts and provided that you enroll in another cohort within one year. Requests for deferral 60 days or more before the start date are subject to a 10% administrative fee. The balance of your registration fee will be applied to the deferred program.

4. Missed Practicum Retreat

  • If you are unable to attend the 10-day practicum retreat due to an emergency, you may be eligible to attend the retreat with a future cohort if space allows and attendance takes place within one year, but no refund will be issued for the live practicum training. Additional fees may apply for accommodation, meals, supervision, and administrative processes related to practicum admission.

5. Program Cancellations

  • If the program is canceled by the training organization for any reason, a full refund, minus the application fee, will be issued to all enrolled participants. The organization is not responsible for any travel expenses, accommodation and meal fees, or other costs incurred by participants that are not directly related to the training.

6. How to Request a Refund

  • To request a refund, please submit a written request to training@bodhi-academy.com. Include your name, the reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation. Refunds will be processed within 60 days of receiving the request.

This refund policy is designed to be fair to all participants and allows us to cover the costs of running a high-quality, intensive academic program with 96 hours of live faculty sessions and a 10-day in-person retreat. By enrolling in the program, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

Notice: This refund policy is subject to future changes. Notices of changes to the refund policy, terms and conditions of enrollment, and student policies will be provided by email to enrolled students.
